Ok, I believe you, I have pulled in several coworkers who haven't seen it yet and I am convinced that they are not trolling me. Half of us see white/gold (including myself) and half see blue/black. We are arguing.

Is it possible that different images are being displayed randomly depending upon cached media or something strange like that? I don't favor a physiological explanation, this seems like a technical issue.

Less good? Infrastructure breaking because of load is one thing (concurrency/DB issues) but nothing like this should ever be exposed to the user on general principle.

I'm glad to know Stripe's API is sane but you cannot ever rely on that when designing something like this!

Edit: they've fixed this now. I'm not joking, click on it and try to pay. It shows an invoice of ($5,000), a.k.a. $5000 negative dollars. I didn't enter real payment information to see what happens next because of really id

I disagree with the notion that 5.45x39 out of a roughly 12-inch barrel would be that great against bears. I thought they would at least issue slugs for the shotgun barrel (which is somewhere in between the small 28-gauge and a .410 shotgu

It seems like their long-tail data is full of misspellings. Try typing in "vacillate" and looking at the other words on the graph in relative frequency, for example.

I'm not a wildlife conservation expert by any stretch, but it was my impression in 2006/2007 (before wolves came in significant packs to the Idaho panhandle) that the elk population was stable and on sustained slight growth withou

I hunt elk in the Idaho panhandle and have witnessed the changes that the wolf packs have brought to the area over the past ten years. The current situation with controlled hunting of the wolves is vastly preferable to the previous state of
