Young people use google for YouTube more than anything else. When they search, it’s on YouTube.

No way “most” people can use bikes for pretty much everything. I get what you are advocating for. I have had several periods in my life where I used a bike as my primary form of transportation. But it only works well in a pretty narrow set

I have been a mod on one of the top/default subredits, as well as other popular subreddits. There is a lot of crap to sort through in order to keep the overall value of the subreddit. Did you post the same article to multiple subreddi

On familiar routes with nothing unusual going on, I also can let my guard down. But you do get alerts if not paying attention and will get kicked out of the beta after 5 or 6 of those. I have had 2 of those alerts in the course of the 6-7

You need to set your forward collision warnings to 'early'. The safety score ding happens at medium. If you have it set to 'late', you will get dinged and never even know it until later.

I think of it in terms of I am still piloting the vehicle, but FSD is executing the maneuvers. This means that I am able to focus on the bigger picture (looking further forward, paying attention to what is going on in all lanes, etc). I am

It used to be close, but not anymore. I am in the beta, so we are talking door-to-door navigation with turns, stops, starts, etc. Stopping at stop signs / red lights is the biggest game changer. But all of the driving stuff is useful.

I used it every day and it does almost all of my daily driving. If it never improves from where it is now, it will be worth the $6k I paid for it. And yeah, you gotta watch it and pay attention.

How about email validation as a first step and send the "this email is in use" message via email instead of on the sign up form. Adds friction to signup, but would work when it's really important to not leak account existence

We also scan pdf417 from ID cards. In our case, it was much easier to just use hardware 2d scanners. We are a b2b SaaS and they are scanning IDs all day, so a hardware solution makes sense. The weird thing about pdf417 is that there is a l

Hey, no need to be Sour Grapes, Jimmy. It seems likely to me that Putin eventually meets the same fate he has given so many others. Does that solve all of the world's problems? Nope, but it solves one of the world's problems.

Slackware was my first too. I think it was version 3.5 with a bunch of floppies. Now that so much of my work is in containers, it might be time to go back to slack for the main OS.

If your income is from working a job, then it can only go up via a raise, a different job, or an additional job. But you can only reasonably work 2-3 jobs. The gains are linear and do not compound. If the income comes from investments,we&#x
