Do you remember the whole "I'm a Mac" commercial series? Apple didn't exactly take the high road under Jobs—they just took the low road better.

Demand for legal services? I don't know about that, but demand for lawyers has definitely been suppressed. When the recent downturn took effect, firms quit hiring for 2-3 years. This left multiple classes of law students unable to find

For the cases that need more complex litigation, but that is a small minority. Ex: We paid for clerks to transcribe a previous hearing. That could be replaced by software.

I had to deal with this before. Basically we combined several obscuring techniques: Use SSL for the requests which makes it harder to sniff the API. Add some sort of tamper token like you suggest. Use a specific User Agent string and check

That makes sense. RescueTime gives me information about how much time I spent in each file and is showing me the project as part of that info, but it doesn't rollup time spent in a project. Still seems of limited use since it wouldn&#x

Completely off-topic, but relevant to HN... That is the first time I have ever seen evernote used this way. What a neat way to publish! Seems like it would be a great fit for something like PG's papers.
