This is very impressive stuff - thank you! I used three.js to PoC something like this in the past (nowhere near as polished though). As great as WebGL is it takes quite a bit of effort to get something polished so kudos to you.

Looking at one component and saying it’s safe (qualified with ‘if you know what’s going on’) misses the point. In fact it’s an engineering style response because it shows some myopia. Safety in an aircraft means getting passengers to their

These guys put all this evil into their code (PHP no less so easily readable by anyone) and it took this long for them to get caught? Further, they peddled this into who knows how many themes they sold and never thought they'd get caug

Nicely written article and I am sorry for what happened. Similar thing happened to a friend of mine some years ago and since then I don’t dare take my bag out during evenings. Re The Met - it’s a sad state of affairs with policing in the UK

So documentation for devs can somehow be poorer and we can throw out mobile-support for that audience too? Why? Why is it ok to sideline a group you’re presumably coveting?

Elections are no use if you can’t hold those you’ve elected accountable to the promises and commitments they made. The downvoter must believe it’s ok for politicians to sell the electorate down the river.

We need tougher laws to put these politicians behind bars if they’ve not acted in the best interests of its citizens.

I found this project on Github a few weeks ago and have been quietly following it. It looks really cool but I didn’t get from the readme how I would best take my relational tables and make a set of matrices from them. I’ll take another look

So many ‘security’ companies making coding mistakes that there’s simply no excuse for. How are these companies remaining in business? Call yourself unhackable and then don’t bother to even authenticate API requests... mind bogggles.

It’s a shame because I used Onavo before it was acquired and back in the days of limited mobile data plans it really reduced my bills. I didn’t trust FB so ditched it right after they got bought (feeling validated!). However it got me think

I’m beginning to think the coolness of open sourcing stuff is wearing off a bit. If it is core tech to a business then why bother? Lots of cool projects don’t really get that many contributors. No point getting a community hooked on your so

I spoke to a number of researchers several years ago before vaping really became so mainstream. To be honest a number had a rather surprising view: if it has nicotine in it then it must be bad. I formed my own opinion back then: the researc

Have to agree with this. Too many times I've seen UX people brought in who see the ONLY path to simplification as removing things /they/ don't perceive as necessary. They're flat out wrong - you can simplify also

Re NAMEDATALEN specifically - you at least acknowledge it eventually needs fixing. On the mailing list there were a lot of important Postgres people who don’t seem to agree. Agreeing that there is something worthy of fixing is a first step.
