Yeah, I'm sure there's something for it but I took the lazy programmer's road of just using Haml and Sass for everything.

Ok, so playing with this for a bit I just realized how much I miss TextMate's tab triggers. I hope this project goes forward, especially if it either a) gets open sourced, or b) gets other developers on board. I'd hate to see it go the Text

I don't want to take anything away from Vico (because so far it is pretty rad), but if you stick with MacVim you eventually start using TextMate less and less until you just stop altogether. For me, it took a good 3 months or so. The last h

Essentially, Bitcoin generation is tied to energy usage, which means not only do the power companies profit from Bitcoin generation, they can essentially regulate the price of it (until BTC is mined out, anyway).

Here's an interesting question prompted by a thread on the Bitcoin forums: What happens if someone has a huge amount of Bitcoin (in this case, 370,000 BTC) and they die or their hard drive crashes (with no backup)?

I wonder why they decided to make it 21 million BTC total instead of a larger number. It seems like you'd run into a situation like when I bought a shirt in Bahrain for some low-ish number of Dinar, not realizing that it was much higher in

As a minority myself, I think it's unfortunate that the proportion of people of color is apparently unbalanced between the "yellow badges" and the "red and white badges". However, I think this reflects more on the disparity in Ivy League sc

Yeah, I definitely get the pain part. Actually, I should be pretty thankful because it's my aversion to handwriting that made me spend a lot of time on the computer, leading to my entire career. :)

Oh weird, my handwriting looks almost exactly like the "motor dysgraphia" sample and I seem to have a good number of the symptoms of motor dysgraphia (pretty much everything except the spelling mistakes and talking to myself while writing).

Yet another instance where Macs are better (well, at least the old ones) ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0g1-iPRw-5M&t=0m25s I had a Centris 660AV and I used to play that crash sound over and over, it was hilarious.

Oops, I'm thinking of the Saver's Credit, which does seem to be available for Roth IRAs, but you're right that it's only for under a certain income. http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=107686,00.html

Yes, but the install is relatively seamless (as long as you already have Flash installed) and only needs to be done once. The AIR update process (for both the runtime and the applications) is also pretty seamless as well.

I don't know that Steve Jobs is creative as much as he is an unrelenting perfectionist. He doesn't design things, Apple's recent success comes mostly from his ability to say "No, that's not good enough. Try again." Maybe his confidence to d

I would recommend just taking a leap of faith and trying it out for a few days (with oh-my-zsh, of course). If you're used to bash, you'll probably find zsh very comfortable to use. It's super easy to install if you're on a Mac and have hom
