I am totally blind and am a Voiceover user. From my experiences with talking to sited iOS users while Voiceover is a great feature and makes an iPhone completely accessible it is still not as intuitive as using an iPhone with site. I was mo

No. I've found that a GPS on a smart phone works fairly well for me if it's an area I am generally familiar with.

I don’t have any meaningful concept of color. I do have some light perception so assume that white is what I see if you shine a light in my eye, black is what I see when all the lights are turned off and gray is the middle ground when there

As someone who has been blind since birth this is accurate. I know that people who go blind later in life continue to dream in color since they have the memory of color to reference while I do not. I wonder if someone who goes blind later i

It isn't the end of the world if the person you date does not have a technical job. No one I've dated works in the IT field and I've still been able to have interesting conversations and decent relationships.

If this happens I hope entry level Mac’s get below $500. I bought a MacBook Air for use as a Windows machine with the plan to learn iOS development at some point. It was worth the cost since I can use it as my day to day machine running Win

I have no usable vision but can sometimes tell if a light is on. I don't know if light effects my sleeping though so that feature could actually be useful.

Since my job is mostly Mainframe programming I don't have much experience with accessibility from a developers point of view. You might want to try and get in contact with people at http://www.paciellogroup.com/ though

I think http://www.marco.org/2014/07/10/app-review-should-test-acces... would be a good way to deal with this. As a blind iPhone user I don't think all apps should have to be made accessible. For example

I hope this works on the iPhone although since the Kindle lending library does not I would not be surprised if it doesn't. Since I'm blind a $69 Kindle obviously won't work and I can't justify $200 for a Kindle Fire that

Mortgage is not always worse then rent. I'm saving about $200 a month including taxes by having a Mortgage instead of renting a comparable place. It depends on the area and what you are looking for.
