Have you considered using kpcli and Keepass files to store server info for machines not set up with key based login? I use it on OSX with my keepass database and it works pretty well. See http://kpcli.sourceforge.net/

I saw that but unless I missed something when looking at the github page I didn't see any information on the device they hooked up to the GPIO pins.

A cheap Bluetooth enabled Braille display would be a good option although would only serve a small segment of the population in developing countries. For more info see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Refreshable_braille_di

Is this book available in a DRM free format? I’m blind and attempting to read the book word by word on my iPhone to follow code samples and then entering them in the computer is not worth it.

I could read the information on the site and find out that I'm not in the delivery area. If it is possible to sign up and use most of the site without actually getting a delivery I will gift it a try in the next couple days. If that is

If done properly Java swing applications can be more accessible on Windows then on Mac. See the following for info on the Java Access Bridge which is Windows only. http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/

Appreciate any info you get when you get a chance to play with their phone. The Nexus 7 is a bit below where the iPhone 3GS was when it was released. I’m not sure how much of that is me having a harder time with larger screen devices though

Although I am blind I still consider myself a "normal" person. This could be the answer to my very specific requirements though. I'd love to build a phone with the lowest quality screen I can, no camera, as big a battery as I

Can anyone who's using the new update explain what Narrator can and can't do? Does it let you use the built in apps, apps from the Windows store, offer gestures to easily navigate etc? I am totally blind and use an iPhone as my ma

What advantages does Python have over R for basic statistics work? I’m trying to play with data for fantasy sports and was planning on getting the data into a MySQL database then using R to look for patterns. Is R the right choice for this,

Is there any information available about the accessibility support in 8.1 yet? I saw that Narrator will be included but no information on weather that will provide full access like iOS and Android offer. If it does I will be picking up a 52

Am I the only one who thought April fools? I could actually see this being useful if I was considering buying a new Mac as a way to test out different models for an extended period of time assuming I could get a one month lease.

I don't think the main Taskwarrior group is focusing on a specific mobile app. With the task server now available hopefully other developers will create mobile apps for Taskwarrior. I'd like an iOS app, while Todo.txt works ok wit

I’ll stick with Todo.txt. The iOS app works well enough and it’s nice to be able to access my lists on all my computers since I store the files in Dropbox. The only annoying part was figuring out a way to set recurring tasks. Remind and a c

How long is it taking to get an invite through the normal github signup? I'd like to try this out to see if it is accessible with screen reading software although the answer is probably not really.

As a totally blind developer I have to disagree. Maybe it's a bit easier for me since I don't need to worry about font sizes but I'd say 95% or more of the web is accessible if you are good with screen reading software.
