Don't let this list intimidate you, Vim allows you to learn at your own pace, I was mashing h,j,k, and l for years before I learned the beauty of grouping movements (e.g., 12j instead of j 12 times). I try to learn one new thing a week

I'm not even giving a hypothetical scenario. It's no longer fresh in the minds of most people but years ago Reddit used to store their passwords plain text for the convenience of being able to send them to the user, instead of imp

I don't think Mozilla cares about the file size anymore. 10 years ago they cared about the file size of Firefox, the mandate was that it could not be greater than ~5mb, the stable download is now almost 6 times that size.

This guy managed to do great art in MS Paint[1] but it seems they are making great art despite their tool and probably not going to be a good tool for the mainstream professional. [1] http://www.themarysue.com/ms-paint-art&

I agree with Joel Spolsky on this subject [1]. From what I've seen when people write something monolithic from scratch they just end up making similar mistakes and introduce new problems that weren't there to begin with. Vim'

Timing form completion also rejects legitimate users that have form filling extensions (e.g., LastPass, 1Password, Roboform, etc.) In my experience hidden form fields were only marginally effective, a lot of bots run headless browsers capab
