Alright, let's actually follow up on two of your links for once. Regarding "The IMF was unable to reproduce": "Piketty's response[54] noted, however, that Góes used measures of income inequality rather than wealth

Your war of attrition style of argumentation isn't that impressive. The amount of time I would need to spend to counter your links is like 10x of the time you spend producing it - which is pretty obvious given how prolific you've

Some quotes are really timeless and applicable to many contexts, in this case the first part (pulling out the knife a bit) could be about the progressive center-right and the latter part (denying that it exists all together) is more of the

To nuance this once again by Jason Hickel: "If we use $7.40 per day, we see a decline in the proportion of people living in poverty, but it’s not nearly as dramatic as your rosy narrative would have it. In 1981 a staggering 71% lived i

Your habit of "you haven't read", "you put words in my mouth" without substantiating either of them is pretty annoying. If you perpetuate, support, or defend a system that knowingly creates an unequal outcome depend

The main reasons for the lack of minimum wage laws are because of a high degree of unionization and the widespread use of collective bargaining agreements.

You have implied that: > Any "disadvantage" occurs naturally as a result of loss in real usefulness (for a time) when it comes to employment. Now, you want to compensate for that natural loss in productivity by mandating that m

What are you even talking about? 1. I didn't write EU, I wrote Northern-European countries. 2. While true, it isn't a fact supporting your point. The main reasons for the lack of minimum wage laws are because of high degree of uni

What's your point? We already know that high labour costs (as in a liveable wage even for so called simple jobs) doesn't necessarily cause high unemployment. Northern-European countries have proven it for ~70 years.

What a dishonest comment. I'm very sure that you know why that is not needed in Sweden and Norway but you just manipulatively skip that part.

I realise that you're now being deliberately obtuse but still; what is parental leave if not child-rearing? The biological part is a couple of weeks, child-rearing that parental leave is a part of is for at least 12 months until daycar

For this to be true - that higher labour costs keeps people out of jobs - one must ignore the last ~70 years of Northern-European labour market.

It's artificial due to society treating child rearing as womens work. That's a social construct. In Scandinavia it's seen as an event handled by _both_ parents, equally. So both parents are expected to be just as absent from

Yet again, there's nothing biological that mandates that women should be disadvantaged due to having children. It's artificial and modern Scandinavia proves it.

There's nothing biological in denying fathers parental leave even if the mother takes the first months of it. And it is sexism to ignore the effects to womens careers if this is not shared.

This whole shift to China as the new "enemy" is fascinating. Even though Trump is more or less mental, and is recognised as such, he has somehow managed to whip up this new cold war frenzy even among his opponents in the media. I
