What struck me immediately was how fast this site loaded. No font popping, no cookie waivers, no newsletter nagging, no huge images, no JavaScript fade-in, no scrolljacking, no signup wall. Funny how practical it is to make a functional for

The simplest way is just to use CloudFlare for DNS only (grey cloud button) until you're under attack. edit: do not follow my advice

So did NSA buy last gen tech from Intel/GlobalFoundries and set it up somewhere secret or did they develop it in-house?

So in that case you could peel off whichever stream you don’t need, but you waste some upload bandwidth over simply negotiating a bitrate in advance.

Wouldn’t it be possible to send a stream cipher encrypted packet of audio to a hub server where the codec has a “progressive” decoding mode? If I’m not mistaken, Opus can already do something like this. That way a client could set their des

I read that as well. But Amazon does have a good return policy with respect to that, and if you read recent reviews it seems like the problem is mostly over.

Small anecdote, but I have had success buying accurate capacity Samsung microSD cards on AliExpress. Just pick the seller with the most sales.

The general advice for buying off Amazon it to make sure that it's actually coming from Amazon.com, not CheapMemoryAmerica1999.

Second paragraph: > 10 miles west of the Suez Canal—you would see bountiful forests of eucalyptus, teak, and mahogany trees limned against the orange sand and blue sky of the Sahara? I see no reason to use anything but native plants.

Planet discoveries have historically gone to those who first laid eyes on it. I don’t see how this would be any different, and they should get to name it.

I suppose the current generation consoles are still on 12nm, but that must be ramping down at this point. PS5 and Xbox-something are a going to be big chunk of the 7nm capacity (30,000 wafers/mo) AMD took over from Apple, since they’re

No, this is just AMD doing the bare minimum to meet contractual obligations with Global Foundries. None of their other product lines make sense to fab on GF’s older process.

As far as I know it's not like this in Ottawa. For example, you can get a pretty big fine if you cut out a section of curb to widen your driveway entrance.
