I just want to say, Docker for OSX is a joke! It's been over 4 years, when is that (slow filesystem issue) ever going to get fixed? People are using solutions like NFS/Dinghy, something Docker for OSX should have out of the box. C

Sure, anyone one can make mistake. We have seen big companies make stupid mistakes too. But this is Mozilla we are talking about. How this slipped by is beyond me.

Agile is so vague I don’t even know what it is anymore. Can someone show us how an agile should look when creating a simple to-do list project?

“If you’re like me and never learned to touch type properly, just use the arrow keys, it’s fine, don’t worry about it.” Are touch typists rare these days? I feel like people these days forego even learning to type properly. I dont understan

Perhaps they are out of beta today? I just received an email from them today saying they are now introducing Cloudflare Registrar. Either way, this is pretty game changing imo.

If the passwords are hashed, just what are the likelihood of your passwords being decrypted? I’d also imagine it is a one way hash since that’s typically the norm so I don’t even know how it can get decrypted.

Doesn’t pattern matching lead to either more verbose code or a duplicate code? Most of the time?

I had chronic insomnia for several years. But then I’ve stopped coding right before sleeping at least 1-3 hours in advance and now I can finally sleep. Who would’ve thought.

I don’t know but I hate it. Not sure if I’m in the minority but it sure feels like it. In an ideal world. I feel that types are something that should be dealt with at the IDE level. In fact, there so many things that can be done at that lev

When ever I think of traveling through a wormhole/blackhole, I imagine you would be squished and crushed and come out the other end as pure vaporized energy. This makes me wonder, if there is the potential for our beings (or things) be

Some people love js for it’s functional approach. Mainly because they hated the whole OOP paradigms and the design pattern baggage that came with it. But now js is adding classes and there’s typescript , now it’s like Java all over again. W

I was once a project manager on a team that does daily standups. What eventually happened was that the team would usually re-iterate what I say, or vice versa. It made me question what was the point of doing standups.

Good article, hits home my experience. But I’d rather have a seasoned UX designer to lead and sketch the flows rather than some one new to come up with a Frankenstein type of app.

I actually like working with plain Sinatra and Sequel. I've created something similar to RoR using it (github.com/jaequery/jasis). As for Roda, idk why but it just doesn't click with me.

I actually dislike RoR but I'm at the same conclusion as OP. There is just something about Ruby that makes me want to keep going back to it. It is difficult choice when given the fact that JS is (and probably always will be) the de-fac

For one, if you are in a health and wellness space, there is this co-working called ScaleLA.com. Pretty awesome to work with people working in the same space as it creates a form of synergy.
