VM is becoming more of a necessity these days due to robocalls. I have any numbers that aren’t on my contacts go straight to VM, and that’s how I get in touch with non-contacts that I really want calling me. In my experience, the signal:noi

You sound like you live alone, or at the very least cook your meals just for you. Because this doesn't seem like it would work at all if you're making meals for multiple people.

I've WFH for the past 8+ years, my kids are now 18 and 15 (so they were 10 and 7 when I started WFH). They can definitely be a distraction, but I was able to minimize it by having an office with a door + setting reasonable boundaries.

I think I read somewhere (possibly from dang) that this was intentional, as subscribing tends to lead to more arguing. Edit: didn’t like dropping this without a reference, so dug one up: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=

You’ve been able to delete the Music app for a while. If the U2 album is the first thing to play, it sounds like you may not use the Music app anyway. Just delete it and problem solved (though agree with the general rage caused by this prom

It seems like there is enough studies and science backing that too much phone use can cause problems — especially doing a lot of multitasking. I say “seems like” without saying definitively, since I’m not quoting sources. But I’ve seen en

Don’t most parents of children live outside of cities? Obviously there are many families that live in cities, but cities seem to mostly draw younger professionals that don’t (yet) have children, and often once these people start having fami

Oddly, while I didn’t really remember the song growing up (in US, probably wasn’t played on my stations), I pretty much loved it since hearing it on SiriusXM First Wave about 10 years ago. I’ve loved hearing how it was used in Stranger Thin

Not everyone in the world lives in a city, and for some folks, cars are a necessity. Sure, for some folks in the city, moving towards a car-less world may be ideal, but it’s not practical for every single person on the planet.
