This article oddly includes "depreciation", but (anecdotally) I've never heard of this being confused with "deprecation". I think, instead, they should have included "obsoletion", which I think is what is

I think this is the root issue many people have been complaining about for years: Apple’s obsession with “smaller”. Many people would be happy with a larger phone, if it meant you could access it a little easier to repair it — or replace th

Why is no one questioning whether this is real? Reddit is full of far-fetched stories like this that ultimately turn up to be completely fabricated (obviously for the purpose of internet points). While this one isn't ridiculously far-f

There are currently laws built around a 40-hour work week, so it seems to make sense that if this were to change, it would _have_ to change at the state/federal level.

Curious why this isn’t bigger news? Seems like every other day, HN has some front page article about dreams of a shorter work week. It’s finally a possibility, and seems like HN is pretty apathetic about it (e.g. this article is from 5 days

The worst is jake braking [1] that tractor trailers use. I live about 300 or so yards from the highway, and constantly hear this noise during the day. https://youtu.be/xm0TSzagk-o?t=103

I guess? But I think it would also be weird to have the “Pay Now” button right below the content for “Pay with Refund” (and then the “Pay with Refund” button below that one). I mean, ideally the buttons would be immediately below the corres

At the end of the day, even the best bosses care about making money, because that’s what _their_ bosses (i.e. investors) care about. So even if you find a boss/employer that is supportive of “the fun stuff” for a season, that will even

The author shared the story in a way that resonated with themself — using reaction gifs. It’s hard to ask them to write how they feel but tell them they can’t use reaction gifs.
