I fill mine twice a year, with about 5-6 bags each fill. Maybe there are different sizes, but when I was shopping around, most seemed to have about the same capacity. So for me, I'd say something that takes me about 30 minutes to do (i

I’m mostly arguing that this feels like an extremist view, and in the realm of “let’s look for real solutions to the problem”, this doesn’t feel like it should be the most upvoted one in this thread.

The moral of this article seems to just point out what we all already know, and what has already been discussed on HN countless times: don't measure performance solely by things that should never be measured in a vacuum (like story poi

Unlike Wikipedia, Twitter, in its current usage, is not a list of author-less posts. They are attributed directly to the author. Having someone else make edits in their behalf seems to only make the experience worse, not better.

Even so, I much prefer normal captions with full sentences vs. words popping on and off the screen at 10 words per second. Could you imagine consuming normal content that way (e.g. HN threads)? That would be anxiety inducing (and honestly,

I don’t think you can both love someone while also thinking they “don’t matter at all”. But maybe your definition of love is different. A parent simply telling their child, unconditionally, that they love them isn’t enough. You have to beli
