One of the three great answers is "just use Rails as an API". That works for me. I have previously fully embraced RJS, Sprockets, Turbolinks, and Webpacker. Very unlikely I'll trust my frontend code to DHH ever again. Glad he

As much as it pains me not to be able to travel to Europe, it's totally fair since the US isn't allowing Europeans in either. At this point, travel bans are just politics. If we are only allowing vaccinated individuals in, the ide

I wonder if the Union square Apple store has this issue, or if PR keeps it hush. I'd imagine it would be really bad for business if customers found out, and they print money at that location

Wow, cool technology! But, I don't have any confidence that this gets adoption. And it has some major holes for when you want to add some rich user interface elements to your pages. And you lose out on a React ecosystem that's rea

This backend outage reveals how horrible the Slack UI is implemented. You post a message.... you think it got sent. Then 1min later, it tells you it was not.

I've noticed Hinge go way down in quality since Match bought them. Where on Tinder, 1/10 gals ever reply to a message. Hinge used to be 1 out of 2 (or higher). Now it's slowly creeping down to Tinder levels. Or maybe it'
