One of the three great answers is "just use Rails as an API". That works for me.
I have previously fully embraced RJS, Sprockets, Turbolinks, and Webpacker. Very unlikely I'll trust my frontend code to DHH ever again.
Glad he found something that works for them though.
- Mikeb85 5y agoDunno, I think that's just front-end development. Node was pretty simple when it first started, now you have these ridiculous webpack builds. Rails front end stuff has changed, but IMO it's on the saner side of things. And the new Rails things are pretty nice.
