Sure...but not the data that was stolen. This data might be equivalent to the employee handbook for all we know...everything states that it has nothing to do with their advanced technologies.

The point of saying "when a black person calls police" implies that the "non-zero" is in reference to an increase from the status quo of "when a white person calls police". Everyday there is a non-zero chance o

My non-plugin hybrid is charged the EV registration fee in WA. They say it's to support adding more EV chargers, but I can't even use them. It's not terrible, but an additional $75/yr is stupid IMHO...this is more expe

On company time/property...why is that wrong? Unions can approach employees anywhere off company property...but the company can only do it while on company property. Who has the advantage?

This is not some fancy new phone...this is an almost permanent obligation you are placing on the company, the employees and future employees. The decision to join a union should be placed on facts and only facts.

That means you are near the top of the company and are a strategic value...do you think every Apple employee, or more specifically the ones targeted by this union, are the same value?

The workers could die at some point too, they will be replaced by new workers and no one would notice the difference. When do you notice the difference...when the owners or the top management are changed and the company strategy changes...

I don't see a specific mention of what exactly they did that was violating the law. Employers are allowed to talk to their employees about why they don't think a union is in the best interest of everyone involved. You are right t

Correction...Russian helicopter deflected 18 Russian test surface to air missiles...in a test. Many videos coming out of Ukraine clearly show that Russian helicopters are far from invincible.

Would you believe that most restaurants in the US have a minimum 18% tip if you have more than 6 people in your party? The norms here are very different and part of the problem is lifestyle expectations. Minimum wage isn't expected to

Kind of my point, should we be setting wages for people based on their lifestyle...or the other way around?

When the person taking my credit card at the drive thru hands me the little machine and tells me which button to push for 15, 18 or 20% tip...and watching me until I hand it back...yeah its expected. In case you didn't see this story..

What is considered a living wage to you? I'm honestly asking because that term is thrown around in the US, but no one can ever define a number. In many large cities in the US the starting wage for a fast food worker can be $18+/h

Tipping no longer seems to be about rewarding good service. Tipping at starbucks, panda express or any other fast food joint didn't used to happen outside of a dollar or two into a tip jar. 15% was pretty normal for a sit down dinner

They aren't forced...but they make choices to do so. Why go to a community college for cheaper when you can get a big loan to go to a really expensive school that you can't afford. Luckily with the internet you can study a lot o

I would be a lot more for reducing the interest rate to 1% on all of these loans. You should not have money forgiven that you used, but also shouldn't be subject to interest rates that make paying off your debt that much harder. If we

Lots of people take out loans and do so responsibly. I had 2 jobs in college and it helped pay for my room and board so that my loans were relatively small when I was done ($30Kish). It wasn't easy, but college is not supposed to be.

There are many reasons, but mainly that we are letting people take loans for significantly over what tuition is. When you write a check to an 18-year old for $5-10K every 3-4 months above and beyond what tuition costs...they aren't al

To be fair this is debt they take on willingly. Now if the government should be letting 18-year olds take on huge amounts of debt without understanding the long term consequences...thats a different story.

I've been hosting a Wekan instance for some time now and use it for work, school and personal lists. I'll have to check out Kanboard, but it would really have to knock my socks off to get me to switch from Wekan.

Once they issue the patch...it's only a matter of time till a good chunk of reasonably decent coders can develop the exploit. Once the premise is released...yeah the top exploit coders will have this in a few hours.
