Semi-related. I grew up in the midwest except I was in a soundproofed basement room with no windows and now I have rather severe misophonia to a lot of random sounds.

I haven't even heard of 90% of these things. It seems hard to believe that people could have so many things in their life that need paid software solutions. I get the feeling that most of these are solutions trying to invent problems i

I think it is because it looks too much like an Ad. It is so different than the surrounding content that I assume it is not part of the pages design and thus ignore it.

Is it even possible to walk places in California? It seems like everything would take hours to get to or would take hiking over hills and highways.

People don't communicate by listening to each others throats so I would have to imagine that is not the way people expect voice audio to sound.

"Its not an open store after all." The Nintendo online market pretty much has no oversight anymore. They don't do any careful pruning of shovelware these days.

But is Apple ever going to allow their CPUs to be used for anything other than their own products? If it isn't even an option then it is mostly irrelevant. I can't get a Windows laptop with an Apple M2 so it isn't worth check

I don't think there is enough context to determine that. It seems plausible that it could maybe be a mix of being highly productive due to the lack of overhead of working with many other people and some obfuscation through complexity p

I think I am correct in my judgement that playing World of Warcraft for 300+ days of playtime was not a good use of my time. It is a failure of my past self for thinking that was a good idea. People make mistakes all the time. I don't

A date is a pretty vague concept. You don't need to sit down at a restaurant together and eat dinner. It could just be going on a walk and having a chat. Except in a slightly more intimate way than friends.
