The build quality is excellent. It isn't quite as good as a MacBook, but I'm willing to take the hit from A+ to A- for the repairablity. It's much better than any other laptop I've used aside from a MacBook Pro. The scre

This article title is grossly misleading. As far as I can tell from the article, no actual votes have happened. The group behind this is just pushing for counties to support them. These types of groups pop up all the time, make hay and then

Agreed. They are trying to conflate two issues that are separate. If Apple was blocking all VPNs from the App Store, they would have a valid argument, but Apple is blocking it for promoting accessing geolocked content in the app descripti

Another way to look at this is that Steve realized there was nothing this guy could do to help him at the moment, so he hung up on him.

So you disagree with it morally but watch it anyway? And then don't even pay the people who produced it? Isn't that even worse? I think there's nothing wrong with porn in general and the people who create it - just like other

I'm pretty sure they're saying that Apple, etc. are trying not to offend China with their programming. It's unrelated to Gawker, but mentioned in the article.

For a $1,000 laptop? I disagree. It’s fine for a $500 one but Apple doesn’t sell those.

Same here. Recently, if it's anything that's health related, I absolutely avoid Amazon because of the mass of fake products out there. I needed some vitamins recently and my first thought was that I'm better off paying CVS or

The sound quality is way beyond anything Google or Amazon offer. If you have other Apple devices, it works just like Siri on your phone. I've got one in my kitchen and it can hear me anywhere in my 3 bedroom house. It's pretty imp

Obviously it will be hard for a phone with 1/10th the z index to fit the same optics that a DSLR came. But I work in video production and I can tell you that for 99% of people, there is absolutely no reason to buy a separate camera. Wh

I’ve never understood this type of “gotcha!” that always gets trotted out when a company uses another company’s product to develop their own. If all of the debugging, testing and factory management tools are standardized on Windows - why re

There's no way that $200 million is break even for that movie. The budget alone was $200 million, which doesn't factor in marketing...which will probably be higher than normal since they had to run a marketing campaign multiple ti
