I had Lumia 520 ($140) for a year and it was snappier than any $300+ Android I've tried.

Xcode's Interface Builder is just dated. Try Unity3d's component-based UI system with live editing during the "Play mode". It's so great to build everything visually with a tool like this.

One day I found a fake profile that copied my description. Support said that they can't prove that he got it after me and they will not take any action. I know two persons who were banned forever after applying to about 20-30 jobs and

Keep reading and there will be a link to the NIH article with a list of studies. (The downvote is not mine, by the way.)

Author here, I read HN and other distracting sites in the bed or from the "gym" room where we don't have a chair or a couch – only a yoga mat. It's not comfortable to sit there for more than an hour. By the way, I also h

It's a native Cocoa app, we just styled it a bit. Automatic tracking is the main reason for focusing on a single platform – it's too close to the system. Even on Mac I encounter complex special cases too often. Plus I have zero ex

Thank you. We set this price because it's not a subscription and you don't need to pay for upgrades. It's not a lucrative pricing model compared to $70-150/yr competitors and going lower in a niche market would be too un

Yes, I still read the local news once a week and the biggest events pass my filters anyway. Intentionally following the popular news also steals your attention from the small tragedies that are never picked up by the big media.

I'd like to focus on fewer things but I still feel that 50hrs are ok. We are awake about 16 hours each day. If less than 7 are spent working, there are still 9 hours each day for other stuff.

My day off is usually 4-5 hours and then I work 7-8 hours on the following days. Since I have multiple projects, a full day of entertainment feels boring because my mind still wants to think about some of them. For example, I spend some hou

Thank you! I like to keep it subtle, especially considering that many readers are not Mac users. I think it's totally possible to measure everything with a start/stop kind of tracker. I heard good things about Selfspy for Linux:

A situation of life and death is not analogical to multiplying already enormous wealth. People that intentionally damage the society on a day job and beat their partners in the evening are not analogical to a politically incorrect doctor.

I wanted to switch but DDG is noticeably slow in South America compared to Google. Meanwhile I've been using private windows for all searches for over 3 years already. Hopefully it helps a bit with the bubble issue.
