    It's much more ergonomically convenient to have the command key under the thumb. I had issues with this only for the first two weeks after moving to Mac and now it's natural.

    Experienced Flash developers would rasterize complex vector shapes on the first load to consume less CPU by raw vector rendering, especially animations. So it's still not a Flash replacement.

    I went through dozens of static site generators including Hugo and everything was so complicated and opinionated that I ended up writing 500 lines of my own. Also they all try to build a whole site when I just need to create some HTML files

    It's much worse: Chrome takes performance hit when accessibility is enabled, so does Electron: https://github.com/electron/electron/issues/7206#issuecommen... So they are inaccessible by default at least

    I don't want to RTFM to understand a file arrangement. It must be intuitive, like what I see in Finder in macOS. UX design failures like this is the main reason why Linux can't get more than 3% on desktop.

    It may be ok for developers but the Flash scene was full of non-developers who used mostly the visual Flash editor and copy-pasted some scripts if necessary.
