One of my favorite pieces of software ever was UserLand Frontier which combined an outliner like this with a scripting language and object database. I guess this is where Dave got the inspiration for his outliner projects (Fargo, Little O

Are there similar guides for those of us wanting to try a dual-boot setup between PC-/FreeBSD and Windows? I remember not finding any straightforward guides more than a year ago when I decided to move away from Windows. I'm on a L

If Duterte did not won, we are in status quo right now. I don't see how the current situation is any better. I can certainly see how it would look like Duterte did more than the other presidents, though.

This sums up my experience. I still have an ISO of FreeBSD 10.1 sitting somewhere on my system just waiting for me to copy over to a USB drive once I work out how to set it up on a dual-boot system along with Windows. So far, all the guides

If you have any reason to have a blog, you should have an email list. Is it better to write posts for a blog than an email list, then? I feel it's better for someone relatively unknown to start out with a blog, then perhaps switch to

Do the blog posts eventually get deleted at some point? It sounds like they will only be made "private" in a certain sense after the time has lapsed, but not completely removed.

As someone who's also read about how Git and Mercurial started (and how Bitkeeper is involved in it), I'm interested in seeing how it will play out. I hope it does work out for you and your team. Thanks for getting it out there. I

You can meet new people at meetups etc, but it takes a lot of effort. I'm running up against the same walls, too, when I go to local user group meetings. Then I also find out my interests are mostly different from theirs.
