My problem was two fold: * My eyesight was a bit poor, got glasses for the first time * Snored a lot, got a mouth guard as a sleeping aide On top of that going through a period with vitamine suppliment really boosted me. My take from is if

Something like this? Parallelism is inherent in most problems but due to current programming models and architectures which have evolved from a sequential paradigm, the parallelism exploited is restricted. We believe that the most efficient

In my experience, the negative thoughts and stress is associated with pressure to complete the task. This is relateable with most larger tasks (i.e. essay writing). I think it's two fold, first off, in engineering, nobody wants you to

I feel this in relationships from time to time as well. We end up talking about it though, and figure out that the situation we ended up in was not a good one. We bring what we can, don't try to make the other person happy but rather t

Given normal circumstance(no mental illness etc), kids get bored by those devices too, as with information and learning. They adapt and learn how to use the tools to meet their will. I think the magic ingrediences here is love, hugs, attent

If you're interested in diving into a real experiment, over at Sweden there's a movement[0] to try to increase the vocabulary early. Teachers in lower grades are quite worried that the entry bar has been lowered over the years. I

I can relate with the fact that taking a longer break from connectivity is very healthy. I found that as I sat on a bus my first instinct was to call a friend. That is not a problem per se, but this I did for every ride. With enough friends

If the kid where given special training in lending/giving, with a lot of positive feedback, that may have a great effect. That is, not just that kid, but let the whole group do exercises where the good behavior is given a lot of positi

I've been on and off with Dvorak since about 16 years. The feeling is consistent, when I do a lot of typing during the day with QWERTY my hands ache, with Dvorak they don't. So as you say, as long as the typing speed is ok, there&

Long time Dvorak fan here. Great to see an initiative like this :) When I have to use Apple products I tend to use Karabiner Elements to swap place between Right ALT and Caps Lock, to ease with all the combinations. Seems to do the trick to

Just follow the link I gave and go to the Chromebook category. Or type in the product name in the search bar. Dustinhome.se is my go to shop mostly because of fair pricing and nice support.

I can buy Chromebooks for 20+ EUR from several brands and several stores here in Sweden. From what I gather it's newer models. ( http://prisjakt.nu being a good site to get a good idea about the current state)

If you are able to rewrite the code base in a short amount of time, the infrastructure problems are easier to handle. That way you can move forward faster and fix problems early on.

Actually, the reason why rbd and rgw was prioritised was because of them being in popular demand. There were also a lot of cash and movement behind them too. I'm not saying it is an easy problem, just that their focus has been on other
