A lot of people use Discord now. I mean, you can use it inside of a browser, what can be easier than that?

Just Ctrl-F5 then. That overaggressive caching made it faster than other browsers.

I actually want this to happen in all of my tabs because I want them to UPDATE. This is why I keep them open in the first place.

It's up to half of your previous salary capped up to a certain amount. I actually don't know if my father got half of what he used to earn, but some people that worked for a long time before getting fired or laid off do get half.

Not true. If you get fired for not attending your job, you don't get unemployment. If you get fired for performance reasons, you get unemployment. My father got fired for "insubordination" aka his manager not liking him. He s

Yes, Object Oriented Programming. Not Object Programming. I'm not using any objects when I write Rust code, even if I'm using concepts from OOP. But yeah, we've both made our point.

I mean, only if you're viewing it from that point of view. A Haskell programmer would just say Rust has typeclasses.

Because you can have free functions that take plain data. So you can have methods or you can have free functions. This is why it's à la carte - you can choose if you use methods or free functions. You can choose if your data has behavi

Again, it might be concepts developed in OOP languages, but I'm still not using objects. I never said I'm not using OOP, which is a stronger claim. I said I'm not using objects.

Traits are more like better interfaces, not classes. Rust doesn't have objects either. It's all structs.

I use Rust with traits. But I don't have classes or objects.

What's the point of objects? I don't find myself needing objects when I code in Rust.

Rate limiting seems like a good application of neural networks. Find out when hackers tried a lot of passwords and when users tried a lot of passwords. Run that data through a model and you can get a model that changes as hackers change the

But some problems are very tough to solve in some languages. Like in Java, it's very hard to avoid allocating everything on the heap. In C++/Rust it's trivial so you can get that performance boost without crude hacks.
