Sure, he's certainly not going to need the money from Apple, but it also shows where his passion is that he still accepts $1 from the company and hasn't sold any shares. Whilst not everyone agrees with his methods or what Apple stands for,

Apple is the company that Jobs founded and whilst he was ousted (and sold his shares) at the time, I'm sure that it will always be his 'baby'. He obviously loves what he does and doesn't need the money anyway. I can't remember where I rea

If you look at the history of Apple this is something that they do often when they believe in something strongly. Removing the floppy drive, being one that I remember very strongly. I feel Leopard support would have been useful, however I'm

This is available outside of iTunes on YouTube (I think). I understand your reasoning, but as I do have iTunes it makes a very nice, seamless way of subscribing to their content, which can then be shared across my various devices (iphone /

Wow, that sounds great. I'd be very interested in this. Do you think you may have plans for taking the age range down also? I have two kids - 8 years old and 3 years old and a great resource for all the basis, as well as some more advanced

I'd never heard of it, but I've just signed up for one via iTunes U. These look awesome. It will be interesting to see where the world of education goes in the next decade. Personally I'm looking for resources for younger children (5-15)

Agreed. He's completely car crazy and we discussed him creating a little database of cars that he's interested in, complete with photos. Probably a bit advanced for what we need to do initially (otherwise he'll get bored if he can't see pr

What is interesting to read here are the comments below the story. The article is from 2007 and yet the comments (predominantly negative) keep going in. I don't personally have any knowledge of Vizio, but I'd certainly be wary after readin

This is the second post from myself in this thread. The reason I've separated it though is that we are looking for coders for a client who we're involved with on a percentage-share basis. They are looking for people to work on a telecoms/w
