I agree. To model any complex system, it only really requires that a person or a group of people understand, and are able to codify their knowledge the system for a given period of time. Just think of your average decently sized code base.

I guess I feel the same. I'm very sympathetic to people who, when making decent financial decisions, are unable to meet their basic needs. Poverty / under-earning like that just creates a constant stress that is completely debilit

In philosophy of mind this view is broadly construed as 'Epiphenomenalism'. The idea being that consciousness (any mental activity that shows up for us) is like the steam coming off of a locomotive, just a by product of underlying

Right, and letting everybody see some lucky person win once in a while sort of perpetuates the delusion that it could be you, the guy standing on the sidelines. Ultimately, it's cheaper for whoever owns the tent to let one person win e

I can only speak to Heroin, not prescription painkillers. 1) I had tried just about every other drug, and I felt at that point like they had been unfairly demonized. A high school friend was doing heroin, and so I wrongfully assumed Heroin

I don't know. This trend is potentially interesting, but the stated benefits don't seem to match up to the cognitive overhead involved in an architecture like this. Also not convinced it's worth adopting three different JS fr
