My statement is admittedly terse but you’re wrong to dismiss it. The unwillingness to even consider other opinions and the abject expansion of what qualifies as racist (and it’s use as slur) is exactly what’s perpetuating our issues.

Yes but there really wasn’t a debate. You either agreed or were racist, and that’s the issue in a nutshell. Even just scratching the surface of this point, the data you shared fails to include details of whether the victims resisted arrest

Obv way too early to make any conclusions. Reminds me of people saying Bitcoin failed as an inflation hedge over the past 1-2 years while ignoring the success of the hedge over a 10 year period.

Populism blinds the public from understanding the true root cause of our problems and therefore destines our solutions to fail. In this case, the populism is Biden’s admin labeling inflation as the ‘Putin Price Hike’. This completely ignore

Just in time for midterms. No real solution on lowering the cost of education, just blatant buying votes by dangling a carrot.

One prevailing thought at the time to fight chestnut blight was to cut existing trees down to prevent the spread. A counter thought is that this action reduced the odds of finding trees that had natural immunity.

Drawdown, edited by Paul Hawken, on pages 54-55. Short of it is: “When soil is tilled and exposed to the air, the life within it decays quickly and carbon is emitted.” Jumping to the end, the solution is permaculture.

Tilling the soil is a devastating source of carbon emissions. I’m not thrilled someone spent time making technology to automate that process.

That’s a beautiful discovery and makes me sad to think what global damage industrialization must have caused. I wish so dearly there was a way to let earth reproduce her fruits that didn’t involve destroying humanity.
