IRC, by its nature, is very distracting. (why bother be on a network if you're not in multiple channels?) OT: I think convore will go the same way, unless the crew can seriously address the SvN problem.

i'm still really keen to try this, but taskforce doesn't yet support mailplane. Looking forward to getting that email when it does! :)

It'd be nice if i could use my own 2 factor, e.g. if i had a securid or something similar to do. I'm not all that excited to have to open my phone to get to an app to get my passcode out.

I have to say, i've tried Postbox and Sparrow (and all the rest) and none really seem to fit my use -- power user plus, wants labels, clean views but also keyboard magic and speed. i would love to know what does that.

According to most official documents, any passport which has a faulty rfid will be assumed tampered with, and will become invalid. So unless you want to be refused entry and forced to replace your passport, this is unadvisable.

Open source. if you learnt properly with the .net platform, you should be able to transition... and from there, you can scale faster and cheaper, and look cool doing it. :)

BBC FM&T and R&D did/does awesome stuff with little resources. It appears to outsiders-who-care that the problem exists higher up, especially with decisions such as adopting Siemens to provide infrastructure support (Talk about lock

I've picked door number two consistently throughout my career. It's more effective and much more meaningful to establish a relationship with decision makers from the get go.

And that's the point of it. But like any other similar thing, it can be an addiction, and when you consider choosing between the lottery or a meal this week, there's a problem needing addressing.

There are other things unmet: for example, support in career progression, clothing, etc. Again, this is fine for a short period (as it was designed for) but imagine living for a year on benefits, where there simply isn't any budget for new

There is a correlation between child rearing and benefits-seeking (at least in the UK). Your costs appear to go up exponentially in this instance, however the benefits don't always follow. Also, some parts of the UK are significantly cheape

For the record, it appears Mozilla, Inc is very rich and could almost certainly just afford the fees and be done with it. That way they'd close the loop and we'd all adopt h264, pay the money, and be on our way to HTML5 video. It's clear th

There's still a culture of too-much-access (we might need it in the future!!) that needs to be addressed here. Perhaps once we're all super used to these interstitials, then it'll become a no-brainer to come back to them and request info. P

Or, if you look at it more cynically, if the average stock grant for each new employee was $750k worth of options, then that leaves a pot of about $13.25bn for the rest. Given dilution, and grants etc, i'm gonna guess that 2000 employees wi
