I think they call that focus "AI Engineer". Edit: just realized you might also be thinking of "MLOps". See end of comment. It's what I have been doing for the last two years but I refer to it as "software engin

I would like to be running my own business.. have a few times in the past.. but usually run out of money before the next SaaS attempt or whatever is ready and have to find a contract on short notice. I guess I'm not a real human being.

I can understand why someone who speaks little English would be tempted to try to avoid translating the commit messages in case you didn't care. Maybe they were just busy. But it also does seem reasonable to be annoyed and want it chan

Thanks for telling me about Sambanova. Too bad they don't have an API. The speed is absolutely incredible. They actually have a demo where it just keeps re-running the chat completion as you are typing your query.

Wow.. I wonder how this compares to groq? I made a request to access their developer cloud. Anyone have any idea when they start processing those requests and how many slots they might have?

I mean, $1000 is less than half as much as they need, and if they gave it to 800 or 900 people, that is out of 9,000 homeless. I think they should try doubling the payments and multiplying the number of recipients by 10. Probably don't

Or go with a more open platform like Android. Although, people might think you are poor. Which would be.. worse than death? Rather just not have an app for some people? lol

I think within X decades, any viable car company will have self driving or have to license the technology. Companies would rather develop their own than license it for the same reason as they have their own anything. But I think that as AI

It seems that the investment in fusion is incredibly tiny relative to the potential payoff and compared to other trivial or even destructive pursuits?

Thanks..right I know about plasma in general, I just assumed in this case it was caused by the fusion. Maybe not. But they have fusion right? Just not recovering any/enough energy to make up for power requirements.

Your reply implies that in this specific case there is no fusion. I know that plasma can occur without it, but this discussion is about the specific machine.

Well it's a torus right? So you put a turbine in the middle? I don't think I've heard that explanation before. Or maybe it can go in the outside. I guess it's like, you need a huge amount of electricity to make the magne

Dumb question, but is the basic idea that you need to harvest more heat energy from the plasma than is needed to maintain the magnetic field? Also, very dumb question but the plasma means that fusion is actually occuring, right? And does an

I think that yes, there is a better way. You have a function that calls the API, then take the output and call another function that calls the API, inserting the first output into the second one's prompt using an f-string or whatever.

Use a consistent argument structure and make a simple class or function for each provider that translates that to the specific API calls. They are very similar APIs. Maybe select the function call based on the model name.

"Agent" means that it outputs JSON with a function call name and parameters which you execute and usually then feed the results back to the LLM.

They become agents when the LLM output is function calls.

I also believe that gpt-4o was originally called gpt-5. If you look at the image generation on their website from gpt-4o which has not been released, I believe that along with the voice caused Ilya to declare mission accomplished (AGI) and

I think it's simple: async runtimes/modules in JavaScript/Node, Python (asyncio), and Rust. Those basically handle message queues for you transparently inside of a single application. You end up writing "async" and

I think there is a way to resolve this sort of thing. If there are a certain number of tribunal appointments for the same type of issue, it becomes a criminal case for the CEO.
