Choosing a language based on hiring ease is not completely awful. For example where I’m at now we use Go, which is relatively popular, and we’re having an insane time even getting applicants.

Is there anywhere that info about the adblocking and email masking has been published? The idea of this browser looks amazing. I hope it has good support for adding vim style keyboard shortcuts via extension or otherwise.

I got 3 months and that’s more than literally everybody I know in real life. Even that was longer than the company gave just a year prior, so long time employees were jealous.

When my son was born I finally realized that my dad is just a bad person and he won’t change. I used to try to rationalize the things he did. My mom refuses to leave or do anything that might cause trouble. I decided to just cut the relatio

In vim you would actually just do 5dk to delete 5 previous lines. Or just do dk to delete one line, then . to repeat until satisfied. So you get an easy way to repeat actions. You can make this into a macro easily if needed. Then, most impo

In that hypothetical I wouldn’t think GitHub is responsible for determining if a repository is mirrored and what the implications of that are. They just need to look at what license is on the repo in GitHub.

This is one of those things that has always sounded really interesting but I haven’t had the opportunity to use. Does anybody have experience with it? I’m also trying to find some benchmarks but don’t see much.

Yeah. He eventually figured out how to take them off. We switched to using socks because they stayed on tighter. Then when teething started he would suck on them and rub his face giving him some bad rashes.

The struggle we’re having is the baby scratches himself nonstop. No matter how much we trim his nails, if we leave him alone at night he’ll be bleeding everywhere. Other than that he sleeps relatively well.

From a first look this seems very similar to Snowpack. I'll have to check it out more to see how they actually compare.

I could definitely be wrong but I think most functional data structures aren’t fully copied. Instead, they’ll utilize something like a pointer to the data that stayed the same so only the part that changes is “copied”.

I thought the proper way to say this is January 20 through 21, but seems like most people don't follow this. Probably because it's often abbreviated as 20-21, which is often used for both cases.

I’m storing data from a game’s api where each object has an unknown number of unique attributes. Each attribute can have a different type of data, including a nested structure. Additionally, each object’s data is subject to change massively

I much prefer the Iris. Ortholinear feels so much better than the standard layout, especially in a split keyboard. I'm just waiting for somebody to put one on a laptop.

As another newish web dev, I think it depends. Best thing is to take a look at your local job market and see what people are using. In my area it's a lot of .Net, so I'm focusing more on that. Some other areas have lots of PHP
