Agreed on Spacemacs. Seems like a lot of stuff I had to switch to the Develop branch for it to work right. Supposedly the next release is coming out soon which will fix a lot. I’ve since switched to Doom which I like better anyways though.

This is a really great idea, IMO. I don't know Racket very well but I'd be very willing to learn just for this project. You should get an interest check going on Reddit or wherever Racket users frequent most.

Fulcro is huge and might be a lot if you're just starting to learn Clojure too. IMO Luminus is a pretty nice option that lets you start simple and add more complicated pieces as you require.

I'm not arguing either way, just noting that it's counter to what I've seen recently in other languages.

I see. I know nothing about Nim but I do see in their example they used var when declaring the function. This way seems like it's hidden to the consumer of the function but hopefully editor tooling helps with this.

Dup is very interesting to me. Does that mean that in Nim all functions will be impure by default, and that it's considered idiomatic to modify the input? I guess it's nice that they're trying to make behavior consistent.

I don't use Tailwind much, but couldn't you still use the Zen Garden style of CSS with Tailwind's @apply?

Yes, that should work.

Doesn't this produce different output? I could be wrong but I think your code is more equivalent to an inner join, not a left outer join.

I’ve really wanted to write a Kakoune style layer for VS Code or even a Kakoune style editor that works natively on Windows.

Ugh hints. The things they almost always recommend you don’t use because the optimizer should know better. Unsarcastically, this is usually true. More often I see people who think they’re being clever killing performance with undocumented

No, I don’t think I could present that question appropriately. The work part came up because one of your anecdotes in your original comment referred to a work scenario. I guess I assumed that you wanted segregation there, also, because of t

So your hypothesis is that all of this `overhead` (mental space/time) would be removed or at least reduced if men only worked with other men and women only worked with other women? I guess the first thought is that this only considers

I'm not understanding what the gender segregation during advanced/specialized education is meant to accomplish. Also, can you expand on this: "I believe that there will be equality between the genders and less conflict if th

Maybe: - You don't have a self driving car. - You don't have a car, period. - You're stranded somewhere or don't have your car with you. - You don't want to deal with parking.

Two things that help me a lot when working in paragraphs: - gj instead of j and gk instead of k to move up and down by visual line instead of line number. - Just go where I want by using / and then typing the word I want to navigate to
