I like being tell "I've got an idea"... I feel flattered; Thing is, these people tell that to everyone of their friends, but only you! The computer nerd, is able to give them real criticism. Last time a girl saw me coding, and she told me:

I'd have probably liked this when I didn't get used to Window navigation on VIM, now I want everything to work with C-W C-[HJKL].

Sounds like my 2010, I was underpaid, I didn't take a pay cut though I would if asked. I was naive enough to don't get the raise I was promised because I cared about the company, got fired on December 22nd (I'd never forget that, since, I'

Disclaimer: I have like 6 years of experience, I'm not a famous programmer, but I do get people telling me (more than 20 programmers) that I'm a good programmer and I write good code. Read code, watch people coding, care about your tools, a

I hope PlusFeed's author read this: Man that's some nasty code, horrible, don't open source that kind of "code"... it's bad, even for a 5 minute projects, it's really bad. Open Source software is not a dumpster of your bad code.

You're a programmer, use the terminal. Also most "normal" users do not have a single __init__.py I like the new Finder but I rarely use it... ack FTW!

This "business model" is getting old, make a social network, make it super popular, then do data mining, profit! I understand this is the first iteration and they'll likely change the product, but, it almost looks like a scam to get people

Nobody but recruiters care about "Programming Languages Skills" And if that's the case, at the beginning of the year I thought I could get a PHP job, but I didn't have that skill, in fact, it served me to remind me how much I hate PHP. My "

Changing the way we communicate (Facebook) isn't changing the world... Startups should quit that cliche it's getting old. In the end any company purpose is to make money, if you get annoyed by ads, then go work for a non-profit.
