Maybe I give Brackets another go since its been a while... However what I really want: AST driven auto-complete VS-style for coffee/coco/livescript. This will probably not happen in an editor written in JS... at least it will not

I would want to fight over the principle. And what the heck are our fundamental values? Snowden, guantanamo, gladio. Do you really think we are so much better? Instead of having this polarizing US VS THEM attitude you should travel more. Yo

This will come into effect silently without any public discussion about it. I can only speak about Germany where the news and mainstream-intellectual talkshows are still dominated by Muslim vs West discussions and reports about Anti-Muslim

wat? How can you even compare the "problems" of building commercial software to the problems of consumerism in capitalism? The standards applied here are whack in the scope of what js and mongo are used for. Also: You only get bet

I really really really like Knex. While Mongo claims to be "easy" and "js-native", It's far easier doing complicated queries with Knex on Postgres than on Mongo with the official client. I work on a mongo project an

The problem is that the Author is assuming that 90% of software we write to make a living is set into stone and suppose to run forever. Almost everything we do is disposable and replaced within the same decade. So he does not like Javascrip

I do not understand this article. You can't load up any browser with add-ons and bookmarks for a few months and then complain about it being slower than a fresh install of another one. I hardly use any add-ons other than ad-block and a

If you use all features of scala you get at least 16mb pure js boilerplate. Even with dead code elimination you cant get below 100kb with 10 lines of scala. Im not sure if i would call that manageable. Your app might explode into megabytes

It took less than a few hours to find the motivation and the perpetrators. There were no suspects to begin with. The next day they were announced dead and this will be used as a reason to send more NATO troops east. Simple truth. Very fast

Funny, this tunnel is in the 100-200 million euro range. Could have a positive social impact. Yet they make compromises and ruin it's value. Raising it 3,5m into the air to save some money? Can it really be called underground then? The

Optional parameters have ? as postfix too. Resulting code like: function foo(x?:?string):?string { return x; } I would much rather like a null type, or even better: have null be declared as void too.

The maybe types `?string` really annoy me. I will rather wait until TypeScript pleases me with union types and proper es6 alignment.

I asked myself the same question, seeking for ressources on the web and help on irc and i concluded that unfortunately the f# community is mainly a windows community. Mono is quite a niche.

First we have to wait for complete implementations. Then wait for v8 performance: http://jsperf.com/performance-frozen-object ES5 is doing good... And at last: Wait for < IE-11 to die. It remains to be seen if io.js will

I like these small frameworks. Bootstrap is almost a little too big for my taste. You end up having custom builds which are hard to maintain and update. New frameworks like semantic-ui make the mistake and are even bigger and more interwove

In what way is Germany more safe? Pretty ridiculous. But if you consider TAZ to be radical ha ha humm... See: Vorratsdatenspeicherung, TED Talk by Malte Spitz, George Maaßen. Laws don't apply here to the intelligence apparatus either.
