Your suggested response would provide very little value to the post being responded to. I would elaborate further, but I don't want to derail this thread further. You should just google it.

Use TypeScript. Seriously, compile time type checking and the additional autocompletion will save you a ton of time, especially if you're working with multiple independent teams.

I think most of the top government jobs are going to require clearance, which requires US citizenship. I really have no experience or advice with what you are asking, though. Maybe go the H-1B route, get permanent residency and try for citi

Be smart enough. A degree from a top school can't hurt you, neither can an MS or PhD. Dance like a monkey in the the 10 rounds of interviews or know somebody.

You can build a 2d game in just about any language. For Java, http://libgdx.badlogicgames.com/ is really popular these days. For C++, you have unreal engine, but you can just roll your own with SDL or SFML. The /r/

As I understand it, the National Labor Relations Act makes such NDAs unenforceable (in the USA) and a recruiter could potentially see right through this.

Are you also loading multiple versions of the same library in memory, or multiple versions with only a small minor version difference? There are also legacy windows bugs that make long file names not work when you have a bunch of nested nod

FUD. There will be a clear migration path, including, it seems, the ability to run both 1.x and 2.x modules side by side using the new router from 1.4. This means you won't have to rewrite your 1.x modules immediately. 1.x also has a

It reminds me a lot of embrace, extend, extinguish employed by Microsoft. Once they got platform adoption and popularity, it's like they stopped investing in the platform. At least that's my perception as an outside user.

Node.js current uses an unmaintained version of v8. io.js v8 is more up to date and they seem to have a better relationship with Google v8 team. If you look at the git history of the two projects, the Node.js project contributions have slow

Why do you regret NCSU? Undergrad or Grad? Make the most of your opportunities. Plenty of people I know from NCSU went to grad school at top institutions or to work at Google, MSFT, etc

I use webstorm for both Angular and Node because the integrated debugger doesn't require a context switch when debugging code. In fact, most development workflows can happen within the editor (and a browser) because of the great toolin

For development yes, but for the consumer apps you might be used to using (or have paid for) it could be difficult switching. YNAB, Fluenz, & iTunes are things you might want a mac for.

Most people moving from Windows need some applications that are not available on Linux but are available on OS X. If this is the case, then virtualbox on OS X with Linux VMs is a reasonable way to go.

If you read the comments in the link you shared, the 2015 XPS 13 looks like a train wreck. It could be months before those fixes are into the kernel. Barton and his team seem to be doing a great job, but the greater Dell seems apathetic.
