Final policy 11/15, enforcement starts 11/22. This seems like a tricky line to walk. For example, could I promote a Tweet about the UBI without mentioning Andrew Yang?

As an iPad Pro user for work, here is one area where discoverability is better on the iPad than the Mac - learning keyboard shortcuts: On the iPad, hold down ⌘, then keyboard shortcuts show up. So much easier than on a Mac. My tip is to gra

I use Shapr 3D for making 3D models for printing. It's an iPad app, feels like I'm living in the future when I use that. Subscribed for about $200/year.

tl;dr That some people are forced to use it in order to have a social life. I was talking to my friends about social media, and how it can be bad for some people. I said, "Ok, all they have to do is turn it off". The response was

It's kinda applicable in a philosophical sense, obviously not in a literal sense. There is a lot of discussion of logistics in the book FYI.

Thanks mindcrime, that's a really interesting answer. It is fair to say that some things normally associated with capitalism depend on growth, e.g. equities. On the topic of corporations, I can see the point about liability. There coul

Regarding 1), what do you mean when you say that "capitalism needs ever-increasing consumption to sustain itself"? I don't think that this has been established. I'm using the standard dictionary version of capitalism: &q

I was curious too and Googled it. Something about how healthcare in the UK is free, and if you are on that visa then you can get that health care.

Even if what you say is true, transferring money from taxpayers to other taxpayers to take a year off doesn't fix it.

The thing that makes this non obvious is not just that things take longer than you think, but rather as time goes on you have to adjust your expectation of completion to be longer. For example, if there is a project that is meant to complet

To be accurate, there are many heat waves, and it has not been established that this one in particular is in any way caused by global climate change. The best you could say is that global climate change causes more heat waves, and this heat

I'm the PM in charge of GDPR issues at the company I work for. I don't know if I can give you any black and white answers, it really depends on a lot of factors. Some directions though: - Try to minimize personal data in the logs
