Western Washington is a great contrast. We get a decent amount of sun (despite the reputation), however , our electricity prices are insanely low due to close-proximity hydroelectric power. As a result, solar is rarely cost effective even

Was looking to see if someone posted this video. The first few interviews are excellent - the later ones, not so much (in terms of explaining ZK - they're good chats, of course).

Because if they ever become super popular, it will be prohibitively expensive to actually police all the surveillance. Likely to store / process it all. AI does an alright job summarizing videos today (Gemini Flash) but it has to get a

Write them a letter. No amount of money or charity will make it feel whole - it might make it worse. But a detailed letter from the heart will close the gap you feel - and the receiver will be extremely happy.

This seems pretty reasonable to me. I don't really understand why Windsurf, owned by OpenAI (allegedly), should expect to have API access to their main competitor's API. People can still bring their own key and use whatever models

Sure, I vote. I do the things I can do, but I mostly focus on hyperlocal things (Little Free Pantries/Libraries) and my friends/family. Impacting their lives and the lives of the people in my community are my top priorities.

Easiest way to prove it can't handle the full context in reality is to upload a one hour documentary movie with audio and ask it to write timestamps of chapters/critical moments. It can't handle this beyond 10 minutes even re

I paid for it and Google Flow was upgraded to Ultra but Gemini still shows Pro, and asks for me to upgrade. When I go to "upgrade," it says I am already at Google Ultra. Average Google product launch.

I've been coding for 20+ years but I'm not sure that I'm a senior dev necessarily. That said, I use Cursor all the time and have had a lot of success. Mostly you have to guide it a lot in verbose, planning methodology, often
