Not defending it, but in regards to the PS app, the guidelines specifically allow streaming of the users own personal devices.

I'm sorry, I know it's a minor cosmetic thing, but those bezels make it look so dated that I can't really see it as new. Not that it matters since I will probably never buy an iMac again after experiencing the issues with dus

I think more-stuff-lower-quality is kind of inevitable, but I am happy with that general direction. I have run into a lot of annoying things like and including your example. This roadmap would be better if it had a simple way to submit and

Developing a Next.js app is a really nice experience. I admit when it first came out I didn't pay that much attention to it because I thought how it did routing was weird and I don't think the server was as extensible. Fast forwar

A really good, full-featured (Heroku-level) PaaS you can deploy to your own Kubernetes cluster.

Runnable did this and got acquired by MuleSoft. Heroku also has this feature. Vercel is less comparable since it's only for serverless. Can you link to your project?

Yea I had the same question. I'm interested in this but it doesn't make sense for me without the production piece or having it run on top of our own Kubernetes cluster.

Wow, I went to school with Fahim at Bentley University. Although we shared friends, I didn't know him personally. I did take computer science classes with him and it was clear he was one of the most talented students in the program. Th

I love GitHub. It's probably my favorite platform in general but I have to agree. I would love to see a new platform that is a non-profit or public benefit corp, perhaps with a government charter or something. Software is too important

Looks good and I'm going to try it as my default search engine for a bit. There are a handful of small UI issues that make me wish it were open source so I could fix them.

I've used it and liked it. I hope they continue to develop it and get it to be production-ready, but I'm not betting on it.

I was thinking about #3 as well, but I was thinking that the scammers don't actually use the gift cards right? Don't they just re-sell them in order to launder them? I was also wondering, if you realize you've been scammed ri

Sure, but I would not necessarily blame the UI designer since the breakdown could have come from a number of places: requirement changes, implementation differences, miscommunication, etc. I mean who knows unless you're behind the scen

No charades, context matters. The context surrounding your question lets me know where you're coming from and that it's not a legitimate question. If I didn't have that context, I might try to learn more about the issue. I al

This is a great example of my point about "one or two people who are trying to be provocative". It's pretty obvious to anyone reading it that you are just explicitly trying to manufacture an issue.

No it doesn't. It just means you can't rely on a single (your) viewpoint when it comes to a large community-involved open source project. It's the equivalent of "works on my machine".

It doesn't matter if YOU don't think it's offensive. It's about how others think and feel about it. Are people really so self-centered that they can't understand that? And the slippery slope argument doesn't ho

Yea I meant for me specifically. It's hard to learn new key bindings, but as someone who uses vim and VS Code, I'm willing to learn new ones if the editor solves my numerous issues with vim.

Yea, I actually offered to take over development of Kozmos, but wasn't taken up on the offer. I'm going to build my own solution one day, just because I am so interested in it, but until then I use Raindrop.
