I'd understand if we were asked to pick what we felt was worth highlighting and provide some supporting data, but we effectively were doing the same amount of work on our own packets as before the shift. Just with a due date a couple w

Even after the shift, both managers I had requested very firmly that I write the initial draft of the packet. I left Google in September and my last day was a week after packet due date. I straight up refused to waste my time on a packet wh

At the very least double height, double width, and double size letters are specced out but are unfortunately not supported by enough terminal emulators that I'd use them for more than a toy.

This is not what you're looking for but the IRS wouldn't let me make an account on their website without mailing me a piece of paper with a passcode on it. This was a few years ago though so maybe they've improved since then.

Why would you want a TV to be needlessly tied to an online service that can be turned off tomorrow? When Netflix stops providing its streaming service (or makes breaking changes to its API) a TV with Netflix support integrated now is wastin

I quit my job in September, forced myself to truly rest for a month (no hobby projects or anything), and have slowly been building back since then. I feel like it took me 5 months to truly feel like I wasn't burnt out anymore and I

Someone I know would put the experience closer to a degauss button than an off switch. The root issues are still there but the relief psilocybin provided gave space to actually make some progress.

I think encrypted DNS as a default is a good thing and swapping (with a notification to let you know what they did, why, and an easy button to revert the setting) in an update would be great. > We completed our rollout of DoH by default
