There was a superb adaptation at the Barbican in London a few years ago. It returned again the following year. I've no idea if it will come back again, but it's more than worth catching if you can. One of the best plays I've

I was hoping for more. The illustrations have little relevance to the corresponding OS, and the text is fairly superficial relative to the actual changes in the various versions.

Could you expand upon your definition of flat tax? Is, for example, the constant amount of money you mention the same of every member of the populace regardless of income? If so, it bears semblance with the UK's poll tax (or Community

And yet, even with those caveats, I'm sure such a product would find a market in modern times. cf Soylent.

For some reason this skips the 80's for me - it jumps from 1980 to 1990. [edit] Ah - it picks up the 80's again after 1992.

I can't comment on the library yet, but I wish more libraries/frameworks had homepages like this. It tells me upfront what it is (so many miss this out!), gives me an example in code, details more features, and then presents a tut

I wonder if something which flatters the user is more likely to go viral? That it consistently underestimates my age by a couple of decades certainly makes me want to link to it and boast.

Internet Explorer was a good browser for a long time. I switched over to IE4 after something caused Netscape to immediately crash every time I started it. I'd avoided IE previously on purely idealogical grounds, but I was impressed by

I don't believe Islam is fundamentally different than Christianity. Present day interpretations aside, I believe both share a similar DNA. I believe the solution is to look inward (as I've already, "do no harm"), rather

That's equating "do no harm" with "do the right thing". I don't believe the comparison stands.

I'd try - seriously. I don't know who came up with "an eye-for-eye and tooth-for-tooth would lead to a world of the blind and toothless" but I believe it. I'm sure it's something I'd struggle with when the

I'm not entirely sure how I would define my guiding motivation in life, but I swear "do no harm" would be part of it. I despair at those who believe otherwise.

I would have loved this as a kid (not to say I don't love it now). I marvel at the fact that children growing up now will be able to take resources like this for granted. Amazing.

The learning period is a good point. Contact juggling has a rather cliff-like learning curve and many people don't progress because of it. A supportive environment makes a world of difference. I hsf people around early on to who offere

There's a lot here that resonates with me beyond matters of intelligence. In my spare time I'm a contact juggler. If you don't know what that it is, it involves rolling balls around the body. David Bowie in Labyrinth is usual

Oh, thank goodness. Both operating systems have their merits, but require Google to split their focus. And yes, this is in contrast to iOS/Mac Os/watchOS/tvOS, which is a common OS divided by UI

I'm curious how the immutability of block chains meshes with the fragility of programming. What happens when a contract on the Ethereum blockchain is found to have a bug? How can it be amended?

I remember waiting 30 minutes for a crappy vrml model of the Enterprise to download over a 28k modem years ago. This is both impressive, and makes me feel very old.
