That is awesome! Glad to see that this was finally addressed. That still leaves the macOS issues which I'll keep my fingers crossed for. (I do realize that I'm an odd niche use case where I use all 3 platforms regularly (Linux, Ap

Really love Zim wiki and have been using it for over a decade. Sadly, the move to py3 and gtk3 broke it for non-linux platforms. macOS how has a huge wealth of [reported] bugs that break common keyboard shortcuts at the OS level and introdu

I just started a new job where the company is heavily invested into SEO. Being new to the subject, what resources would you suggest for a webdev to first learn the technical fundamentals and then to get deep into the weeds?

I’ve had the 6S since shortly after launch and it still runs smooth. The only issue is the battery which I can probably get replaced if I wanted to ditch my portable battery. Prior to this, I had an iPhone 4 for many years. While it wasn’t

If you step out of the tech (STEM) bubble, you’ll see that this is going to have a lot of collateral damage. There are niche industries where H-1B is an actual necessity. I know that what people complain about, especially on a tech centric

This is painting a false picture. I don’t see people being mad this was fixed. What I do see are people pointing out how quickly Google fixes this while other long term issues, not just on YouTube but in Google’s entire ecosystem, appear to

Great advice which I’ve attempted with companies before. Twist - they don’t clarify expectations. Perhaps because it’s meant to be vague like in the linked article. What do you do then?

Ehh I get where you’re coming from but look at it this way. What if you had a child and they got an assignment from their teacher that simply said, “Write an essay on Clean Code. This will count for 90% of your final grade.” You have 2 week

Do not condone violence. But much like dealing with students who break the rules, your first reaction should not be to punish. Your first reaction should be to ask why.

Do note the reverse though. Don’t let everyone who labels violence as unequivocally wrong trick you into thinking that all riots are due to bad people. You’re right in that MLK Jr’s point wasn’t to promote riots. However, if you automatical

One reason for this is because once elected, there is very little that the population can do to hold the official accountable. You can’t remove officials for not fulfilling their promises. They can also delay until it’s too late by saying,
