A lottery may be a poor investment vehicle, but unless the results are being biased in some way, or the published odds are incorrect, it is demonstrably not a scam.

Testing is obviously not impossible, so let’s set that aside for a moment. The question is, why are you unit testing ML functions? ML is not software engineering, and unit tests not a good way to broadly evaluate them, outside some “third r

Even though Death is unavoidable, it’s still a good idea to wear a seatbelt. Edited to add: it’s hard to imagine a civilisation with the technology to successfully re-animate a corpse, but that is unable to treat heart disease & cancer.

But there’s quite a lot of research on this? Yes, the numerous studies and meta-analyses I’ve seen suggest an effect of between 1–10 years of healthy lifespan added. That’s certainly not nothing, but considering that life expectancy at bi

Lol. I seem to recall seeing a comic strip once, where a young, a middle-aged, and an old man were asked when anti-aging treatments would arrive. Their answers were respectively: fifty years, ten years–and this afternoon!

There’s nothing to fear really. Why would there be no kids? Why would biologically “young” people have no new ideas? I didn’t like extreme sports when I was young, but maybe if I was 10,000 years old, I’d think screw it and have a go at B
