Well the organ recipient’s body is now an incubation chamber for pig human virus crossovers. But it’s a human, so we deal with the risks. Hopefully he doesn’t deal with a lot of pigs on a daily basis.

When they say break down they just mean even more micro than microplastics right? It’s not truly breaking down right?

It was a pretty left leaning libertarian though. As soon as those racist papers he authored came out he quickly fell off of Reddit’s radar. Not to mention, he co-opted at lot of the left’s iconography with his re”love”ution campaign.

I don’t think you’d want to eat severely genetically modified pigs though. Who know what kinds of viruses can make the jump to humans in a chimera like that. Ideally those pigs would be kept in some kind of sterile biohazard location and th

If zookeepers suspiciously had higher rates of kidney failure then yes I think it would be mentioned.

I didn’t realize you had to take lifelong immunosuppressants with human organs as well. That makes this indistinguishable, provided it keeps working.

Good, it leans left, but not so far left that it’s just LGBTQ/feminist spam. It doesn’t have a bunch of right wing trolls so far. It’s like the early days of Reddit.

It doesn’t mention the most important thing. Does he have to take immunosuppressants? If so is it for the rest of his life.

It’s something I’ve been interested in too. I do a bunch of CNC woodworking so would love the ability to atleast generate close enough 3D models I can then refine.

You either like it or you don’t. The inbuilt tutorial is pretty self explanatory and took me 15 mins to really get into it from scratch. It’s slow and turn based and that’s not for everyone. Factorio on the other hand took a while for me to

There are specific latent reservoirs the HIV hides in. It wouldn’t need to get every cell in the body, just have a favorable probability distribution to hit the reservoirs.

Well you can’t use it as a vaccine since there would be no hiv to preemptively excise.

What the hell are you talking about? In the past five years ISRO has launched 177 satellites for 19 different countries. I remember watching one for Singapore just last week. https://pib.gov.in/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=188

There’s no reason better drivers drive more hours. You can be a shit semi driver. That being said, it’s an irrelevant comment. If it’s at average now this is the worst it can get and it’s already way above average.

You can generate pretty reliable texture depth maps from just an image. It’s going to be trash if you’re trying to generate the depth for the entire 3D model but I presume it’s going to go a good job with just texture. Then you just use a d

I don’t know about their long term thinking when it comes to policy but politically the BJP has meticulously planned and successfully carried out a takeover of the Indian political system in a strategy that spanned atleast 4 decades.

It’s not for no reason, you’re getting more performance. It’s like saying everyone should buy a 4 cylinder Corolla for every situation, including tractors used in farms.

Why does it matter? It’s always plugged in and the cost difference is negligible.

Then get a low power processor. There’s no reason power consumption should really come up as a prime selling point in any discussion regarding home usage. Obviously when you do things at scale in a data center it makes sense to talk about.

The US army really doesn’t use enough cheap, small drones. All the drones we use are large and expensive.

As a home consumer though why would I care about power consumption. What is that like a few extra dollars in power per month?
