That’s still like a 10 year lag time. If the process to find those answers involves anything beyond typing in the query followed by “fediverse” or whatever on google, it’s not going to happen.

I would fail this hard. Even if I write an entire system from scratch I forget the details in under 3 months.

Joining a cult is a lot of fun as long as you can keep your wits about you and leave whenever you choose to. I’ve been in two, always used a fake name and only spent a couple of years in each. You will never be able to match the level of co

Yep, I don’t think I’ve had windows crash in atleast 2-3 years and I do a lot of strange, processor heavy things.

I used hackintoshes for a long time. I’m done with dealing with kexts and other such nonsense. Life is short I don’t want to spend all of it dealing with some silly technical administration. Windows is good enough for every piece of softwar

That’s silly in my opinion. I didn’t see any of the actual big wigs go to prison for 2008 but Sam is an easy target with the dual effect of vilifying cryptocurrencies.

Fixed machinery already does most of the welding in automotive manufacturing. Changing that to a movable base doesn’t seem like an impossible problem especially if you can use a fixed point on the object and then use relative coordinates li

You start where you can before moving on harder tasks. A conveyor belt is never going to be able to weld curved joints and be wiring installers in the future.

Hard disagree. China and India are adding massive amounts of renewable energy in the form of solar, wind and nuclear energy every year. Electric cars are basically selling like crazy in Europe and Asia and to a reasonable extent in the US.

This is honestly the wrong angle to take. I’m a raging environmentalist and your decrementalist comment is making my blood boil. Advocating for a reduction in standard of living is not the way to go about environmentalism. Using science and

Shared spaces and parks are not a replacement for your own land. I’ve done that while I lived in Manhattan and never enjoyed it.

Finding free time undirected by an authority figure as distressing, should in my opinion should be seen as a mental health failure. It is however beneficial to our society, so generally encouraged.
