That's great to know! And important to clarify because by default WSL has access to all disks.

I can rm -rf Windows files from WSL2. And so can LLMs. Meanwhile a VM isolates by default.

For Windows a quick win is to install VMware Workstation Pro (which is free) and install Ubuntu 24.04 LTS as a VM. Broadcom bought VMware then released Workstation Pro for free and I don't think they kept the download link but you can

Can't agree. That website is much simpler. Just a static list of images and text. There's no complex, dynamic filter. And no special rendering per type of item. It's a glorified tumbler since the only dynamic part looks like

most code from jQuery 2 or 3 works in 4. they have legendary backwards compatibility. most of the breaking changes are dropping support for ancient browsers. so yes, LLMs are great with jQuery.

if you need to sprinkle interactivity, jQuery is much more approachable than spa libraries like react. maybe use Vue or something like mithril which doesn't require build. But jQuery is short and easy to grasp.

At least in Android you can use F-Droid which is Play Store for open-source apps. I installed a regex powered notification blocker yesterday. Works as a charm.

what do you mean non-interactively? Claude is great with git in command-line.

Regular people don't need state of the art chips to doomscroll tiktok and take instagram selfies. But perhaps Apple needs them to power translucent UIs and Siri.

surely Claude is much better at using git because of the massive training data difference. If it didn't undo git, it would do it with JJ either.

Perhaps writing code by hand will be considered micro optimisation in the future. Just like writing assembly is today.

This is also bad evangelism, but on opposite side. Just because LLMs don't work for you outside of vibe-coding, doesn't mean it's the same for everyone. > LLM evangelists - are you willing to admit that you just might not
