Apple is one of the largest customers of Google Cloud Platform. Last I heard most of their e2e storage for iCloud was on GCP. They also use AWS.

In my experience LLMs are really good at following code examples and constraints (tests). So even if they don't get to train much on some technology, all you need is some guidance docs in AGENTS.md There's a plus in being fresh to

Go is sometimes criticised for not using LLVM but I think they made the right choice. For starters the tooling would be much slower if it required LLVM.

I guess the question is, when are they going to use their own model? Surely research money is not the problem. Can't be lack of competence either, I think.

AI will become/is already much better than most devs in detecting security flaws in code. So my prediction is that any software worth scanning by redteams will become more secure. Not less.

BassForLinus.mp3 ? I never clicked a file so fast in my life before. It's a tame bass sample sound. Probably from Linus himself. I want more! https://github.com/torvalds/AudioNoise/blob/main/BassForL

In current market I would really not filter remote only. Get a job first. Even if not remote. Then you keep applying for remote jobs.

We'll have to agree to disagree then. Because to me Tailwind maintenance look like a 2 devs jobs at best. They have 3 founders. They don't even need to hire.

How much work are we talking? It would be in their best interest to keep "openwind" stable since changes to the CSS lib would require extra work in their component. Different incentives.

Regardless of semanthics, LLMs + tooling can do impressive things. For example I can tell LLMs to scan my database schema and compare to code to detect drift or inconsistencies. And while doing that it has enough condensed world knowledge t
