I regularly wish my work MacBook Pro had a single A port. I understand my personal Air not having one—it’s lacking all ports but C—but it’s the one thing preventing my MBP from being as always-useful-entirely-on-its-own as the 2014 Pro I us

Film and tv studios. Selling is fine, but no rental or subscription streaming. Basically the same as the no-owning-movie-theaters rule. Idea’s to force streaming services to compete on service quality, not content exclusivity.

They use a language called BrigthScript that’s closest to Visual Basic. It was originally intended for digital signage. A few years back they “improved” it with XML crap that you have to use to describe public methods of your objects(!) and

This is what makes me irritated when folks (like, say, on this very site) are all, “LOL just do your job, parents.” Yeah, I’m fucking trying , but all the tech features for this are defective and this is a whole pile of extra crap that pri

One thing I can’t believe about Apple TV is that you can’t require a PIN for all apps but an allow-list—just for all apps. This, coupled with the fact that nothing other than first-party Apple apps respect the age rating settings makes th

Serial was my guess, if it was in fact 9-pin. I don’t think I ever had a serial-port keyboard, but I did used to have a serial-port mouse. Game port had more pins.
