I would say ES6 for anything that will be worked on by more than 2 people. CoffeeScript for one man show projects. But honestly...ES6 will be the norm and you should know it anyway. So the question is..If you already know CoffeeScript shoul

Switzerland is notoriously known for being a heaven for tax evasion, big financial criminals etc. Why they should be fast to support something new if what they have is not broken ? It's not like they are offering a SW related services.

OpenSource often means easy to use without paying. It gives you choice to use but not pay. I am not against open source but most of the time people religiously screaming that this and that must be open source are the ones that never pay for

The formal knowledge can be obtained elsewhere anyway. A degree from a well-known university is cool but most of us are not 1% and even if you get there it does not mean you can survive. Some people really hate academic soil.

But at the same time it's a chicken egg problem for many people. Not having money to attend a uni is a big problem for a lot of us. I and my family simply did not have the $$$ to take the chance. And i am talking about actual living ex

Are you korean studying in Hong Kong or in Korea ? Well i would say it does not matter anyway. People commenting here are mostly americans or europeans so they do not know about the education system in Korea. I would say do not go for the

Lets put it this way. Rust is great and all for somebody who is willing to invest in it but there are simply other "mature" alternatives that are just as good.

I meant financially undervalued by companies. Yes you have some players here and there but overall the market is not that big. And an investment to this area from a developer's POV is too much of a risk. Also the learning curve is too

Rust's not there yet and I wonder if it can compete. The thing is it is too specialized and low level (not that it is a bad thing for what it is intended for). The problem with all of the low-level things is that they are seriously und

Google hired a lot of grey/black hats and THEY ARE treated differently. All of these people from ADM,w00w00,gobbles,TESO. And google does not care about real solutions (Grsec/PAX) and did not spend a dime on it. It's an evil

Open Source did not win. In fact it destroyed a lot of potential markets. With this move Apple is dragging more and more developers that would be interested in Go/ Java (aka Android world) to its net. This is a win for Apple only.
