Will the talk be recorded? I'm interested, but not at Stanford (unfortunately!) Even just slides would be good, if applicable.

That pattern is pretty common in general, no? I use the same url dispatch array in Tornado projects.

I'm also a Python dev, and my observation from several threads here (and elsewhere) is that the perception is quite common. IANARailsDev, obviously.

There's a (Dilbert?) comic somewhere out there about this. Can't find it at the moment, though :-/ edit found it: http://dilbert.com/dyn/str_strip/000000000/00000000/0000000/...

I'd really like an imgur-style left/right arrow navigation, maybe with up/down arrows being save/delete. At the end, give me a page with all of the ones I 'upvoted'?

Had the pleasure of meeting the cofounders at a career fair last year; really nice guys. A friend ended up working at WillowTree and enjoyed the experience.

Not sure about doing it on a thinkpad, but there are ways to use OSX in a virtualbox image. I've seen such a system (i5, 12gb ram) run rather smoothly.

I go to Virginia Tech, and people all the time say "Isn't that where those people were killed? Do you feel safe there?" Yes, yes I do. The alert response system here is impressively fast. Good luck getting our response time at any other

I've had a lot of success combining melatonin, low light before bedtime, drinking a moderate amount of water before bed, and f.lux (software). I use a heavier dose Friday+Saturday night to help me stay with a normal sleep schedule.

I was watching the news last week and was struck by a fact that I didn't consider: Iron Dome missiles cost upwards of $50,000 to shoot down rockets costing ~$800. I suppose those $800 rockets could do way more than $50,000 in damage if the
