"To make shit work", that is where the devil is. In the same line as, "how hard could it be". Having a tunnel vision to get something fixed right now with no regards to what will happen in the future. How the code will b

"Two consenting adults". That is a misrepresentation of reality. You could say the same about Pyramid schemes. No one forced others to buy into it. The point is ICOs are akin to scams. And there should be a regulations around it.

You took the comment literally. I think OP's point is still valid. There should be regulations around sophisticated scams.

If the start-up is to monetize due to lack of privacy laws, then this regulation is specifically meant to prevent such companies. If they are the middle man with no dependence on private information, then yes it will cost them to be complia

Maybe they do, maybe they don't use it. Point is, there is no guarantee they will never use it for wrong. How about data breach? Can they also guarantee that the data is stored safely?

Look at it the other way. Do you want to join a company that judges its employees based on online presence? And denies entry to employees who lack such presence?

It seems you didn't read the text. The point the article is making is not about how to use the Facebook and its set of features. I will not try to create a TL;DR in a comment as that would not do justice to the article, but please read

I guess he phrased it wrongly. Climate issues is not a matter of controversy but rather there are organizations trying to spread false knowledge and being able to spread that using wikipediaP2P is what OP is concerned about.

If after the overwhelming evidence, you can't still reach a reasonable agreement, I think that is a very good reason to not marry someone. That is a the kind of pattern that would repeat for the rest of the life, and at some point you

Not only it is taxing on planet earth I think there is more to it. Assume people of middle ages lived 1000 years longer than they did, I doubt the civilization on earth would have developed as far as it did. To progress we need people to di

I agree. The article tries to bring out an important issue: USA immigration policies need changes. But it starts the argument using unsubstantial cases.
