Plugin hybrids would solve a lot of this problem. Battery can be ten times smaller and no range anxiety for much of the same benefits as fully electric

I think recycling is overrated. Even with very high compliance it wouldn't make a dent in carbon emissions. Transport, heating/cooling and farming constitute the majority of carbon emissions. At worst I think recycling is a costly
